What goes around comes around

No, these are not the same baby. (Pardon the snail trail below -- teething's a messy business.)

But I guess we've come around to the knowledge that we create one kind around here. And that my genes are recessive.

Maybe that's why these two are so connected.

  1. Yeah, uh, what is with the recessive genes thing? I've got one with freckles, one with genes I'm sure came from Meg, and none that really look like ME. Sheesh. Guess you better choose a husband carefully, because you might get his looks over, and over, and over...

  2. Oh I can see a lot of you in your kids. But you're right . . .Annie and Eliza DO look a lot alike AND a lot like Newell. That baby picture of Annie looks JUST LIKE Eliza.

  3. When I first looked at the first picture, I was actually wondering why you had photo shopped Eliza in with Celia and Christian!!! At least Newell's looks really work for a baby!

  4. That is one serious point! I best start schooling my girls to choose wisely because my future son-in-laws may be the source of a re-occuring theme in my grandchildren. And I'd hate to have unsightliness mar the experience for me. Something to think about ... hm.
