Living in the Last Days

There's a very fine line between summer and fall here ... a very fine line. One day we were melting, the next day we are a frozen pile of whatever melted -- literally.

And so our plans to spend the last day of summer out on a local lake with friends was slightly marred by wishes for our thermals. But just as kids can run barefoot seemingly unhindered over sharp rocks, neither are they inhibited by the icy needles of hypothermia inducing lake water. Much to this man's chagrin seein's how he's gotta tote the kids on that jet ski:

It was fun while it lasted but all good things must come to an end. Thanks for the memories, Summertime. And thanks to great friends for the invite. Now where are my footy pajamas?

  1. So sorry, we are still in the 90s here and soaking up the rays, but the nights are getting cold enough that the a/c doesn't come on any more!
