In the barn

My oldest daughter's friend and a 4-H companion in the agriculture project put it this way: "Here comes the end of our summer."  No kidding.  We watch these babies grow for seven weeks until the fair and then the minute we are done, it's time for school.  It does kind of make the summer feel like it is measured in ounces rather than days.

And we work very hard not to fall in love since we all know the future of meat poultry.
