a perfect brightness of hope

Life is full of choices.

One can look at everything that comes their way as devastating or hard or offensive. But every emotion is a choice. It really is. So choose your outlook.

We saw a lot of hard things. Those hard things made the sweet things even sweeter.

"We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our homes to remedy this kind of poverty."
-- Mother Teresa

Those who intentionally look for opportunities to share compassion will be shown exactly what they can do and how.

I've seen a place where Love Works.

Amid the hard, I've seen the good.

Mother's Without Borders has a home and school for children. My friend has worked hard to build networks to better the lives of those she finds. Some orphaned, some vulnerable. This organization employs local help and local educators to fill those needs. They are very intent on Zambia helping lift Zambia in every possible way.

All else is voluntary.

It doesn't take much. To sponsor a child or assist in any way, my side bar has a link to the Mother's Without Borders organization. Know that any help they receive goes straight into creating a home where these precious children feel a sense of belonging and love; the greatest remedy to poverty in the world.
