Telluride, Colorado was absolutely beautiful for our fall break.
We love how off the beaten trail it is. It's always a little magical to get away from gadgets and communications and just be us.
The town is very quaint and close.
The gondola is the main mode of transportation.
So easy it lulls to sleep.
We woke up in the early cold one morning to take a jeep tour to the top of the mountain peaks.
The views were stunning.
I can't help but love a man holding his baby girl.
The town of Telluride looks so quite from way up above.
Our tour took us through a mining ghost town which really got our imaginations going.
We stopped to look for precious rocks. Thanks to our crafty guide who planted a few crystals for these really exited little girls, the magic was palpable.
We felt on top of the world at the summit.
The snow was a thrill.
So much that we needed to taste it.
These kids perched on the edge of these cliffs only had my heart racing a little ;)
We tore down the mountain at a fast and furious pace in our jeep and then stopped to explore the ghost town itself.
And beyond that, we biked and hiked and enjoyed the quiet of the road less traveled.
